Lake View Credit Union Foundation
The Lake View Credit Union Foundation is dedicated to helping build and support quality of life initiatives for the people and communities of the Peace.
- Funds are allocated democratically, by LVCU's Community Giving Committee
- Leveraging the power of matching donations to multiply and maximize community good
- Opportunities for members and the public to take part and contribute through specific campaigns or regular monthly giving.
- All contributions receive a charitable tax receipt
- Helping build resilient, dynamic communities
Our Goal
Founded in 2020, the Lake View Credit Union Foundation serves as the charitable arm of Lake View Credit Union. As an organization, Lake View Credit Union works with businesses, non-profits, local governments and individuals throughout the Peace to foster an environment that communities and people can thrive in. Likewise, our Foundation is dedicated to supporting the required infrastrucure and human capacity to support such an environment.
If you’re able to help, please donate by credit card though the secure online portal below. If you’d prefer to donate by cheque, please pay to the order of: Canada Gives, with Lake View Credit Union Foundation in the memo line.
All donations made through the Foundation are eligible for a tax receipt.

Above and beyond our charitable contributions, we support our community by investing in education, fostering a culture of volunteerism, sponsoring local sporting and cultural events and championing local businesses at every opportunity.
Our story
Lake View Credit Union was founded on August 3rd, 1943, and has been growing strong ever since. In addition to being a full service financial institution catering to all personal and commercial needs, its staff and board are proud to call the Peace their home.

Nearly $4K raised and almost 500 blankets donated to credit union blanket drive.
Following an incident earlier in the year in which the South Peace SPCA had 119 dogs surrendered to it, Lake View Credit Union partnered with the organization to help replenish much needed supplies in addition to raising funds to help the SPCA continue their vital work.
SPCA receives huge donation of cash, blankets from Lake View Credit Union
Thanks to a great idea from a Lake View Credit Union staff member, a blanket drive saw almost $4,000 and nearly 500 blankets donated to the SPCA.
